{"id":95,"date":"2011-08-22T16:17:47","date_gmt":"2011-08-22T20:17:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chugchilan.gob.ec\/cotopaxi\/?p=95"},"modified":"2022-08-18T15:11:25","modified_gmt":"2022-08-18T19:11:25","slug":"historia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chugchilan.gob.ec\/cotopaxi\/historia\/","title":{"rendered":"Historia"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 14.25pt; background: white;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-family: Algerian; font-size: 14pt;\">GOBIERNO AUT\u00d3NOMO DESCENTRALIZADO PARROQUIAL RURAL \"CHUGCHIL\u00c1N\"<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/pre>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>HISTORIA DE LA PARROQUIA<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\" align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;\" align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1686 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/chugchilan.gob.ec\/cotopaxi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Chugchil\u00e1n-hist\u00f3rico.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"415\" height=\"332\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chugchilan.gob.ec\/cotopaxi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Chugchil\u00e1n-hist\u00f3rico.png 2000w, https:\/\/chugchilan.gob.ec\/cotopaxi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Chugchil\u00e1n-hist\u00f3rico-550x440.png 550w, https:\/\/chugchilan.gob.ec\/cotopaxi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/Chugchil\u00e1n-hist\u00f3rico-768x614.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 415px) 100vw, 415px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"Standard\">La Parroquia San Miguel de Chugchil\u00e1n, hace 15 a\u00f1os era parte del Canto Pujil\u00ed, pero por la cercan\u00eda que existe, ahora forma parte del cant\u00f3n Sigchos, se encuentra ubicado en noroccidente de la Provincia de Cotopaxi.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan cuenta nuestros ante pasado que los primeros habitantes quisieron construir la iglesia del pueblo en el sector llamado Pungucaso de 10 a 15 minutos de lo que se encuentra actualmente la Parroquia pero cuando la capilla estaba ya cerca de terminar la construcci\u00f3n de sus torres de repente se vino abajo todo el armaz\u00f3n de las torres que ya hab\u00eda construido, sus paredes, incluyendo sus torres de manera que la gente no pod\u00eda terminar su construcci\u00f3n, es cuando ven la necesidad de edificar el templo en otro lugar, en eso aparece un hombre benefactor quien dona su terreno zona donde hoy se encuentra la Parroquia, casi subiendo a la monta\u00f1a en una planicie de una extensi\u00f3n m\u00e1s o menos considerable el nombre de este se\u00f1or era Miguel Chugchil\u00e1n a partir de ah\u00ed la gente comenz\u00f3 nuevamente la construcci\u00f3n de la capilla principal la misma que nunca m\u00e1s se vino abajo qued\u00e1ndose ah\u00ed los pocos habitantes que con dedicaci\u00f3n y esfuerzo edificaron la iglesia en honor a su benefactor la gente decide llamar Chugchil\u00e1n al sector construido, ahora conocido como la Parroquia Chugchil\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>Fue creado el 29 de septiembre del 1861, luego de su creaci\u00f3n al pasar del tiempo era un sitio muy conocido por ser centro de enlace entre la Costa y la Sierra, por esta raz\u00f3n el comercio era afluente con las parroquias de Sigchos, Pucayacu, Isinliv\u00ed, Zumbahua, Saquisil\u00ed y del cant\u00f3n Latacunga y los pobladores de la zonas cercanas se concentraban en Chugchil\u00e1n para su compra y venta de productos como: panela, ma\u00edz, cebada, papas, aguardientes y el intercambio de productos. Por ello las fiestas de Parroquializaci\u00f3n se realizan el 29 de septiembre en homenaje a su patrono San Miguel Arc\u00e1ngel.<\/p>\n<p>Antes la transportaci\u00f3n era por animales como: bueyes, mula, burro, caballo, machos, estos animales eran los medios de transportaci\u00f3n de un lugar a otro.
